Server Hosting Guide
====================

Playing **Brick Rigs** with friends is the definitive experience. You can host your own server directly from the game menu.

Hosting a Game
--------------
1.  **Main Menu:** Select "Multiplayer" -> "Host Game".
2.  **Server Name:** Choose a recognizable name.
3.  **Password:** Optional, but recommended for private sessions.
4.  **Max Players:** Higher counts require better internet upload speeds and CPU power.
5.  **Gamemode:** Select Sandbox, Conquest, Battle, etc.

Port Forwarding (Optional)
--------------------------
Brick Rigs usually utilizes Steam P2P networking, which handles connections automatically without needing to forward ports. However, if friends cannot join:
*   Ensure your **Firewall** allows Brick Rigs (Private and Public networks).
*   Verify your antivirus is not blocking the connection.

Server Commands
---------------
As a host, you have control over the lobby:
*   **Kick/Ban:** Remove griefers via the scoreboard (Tab).
*   **Clear All:** Delete all vehicles to clear lag.
*   **Reset Character:** Respawn all players.

Common Connection Issues
------------------------
*   **"Connection Failed":** Often caused by version mismatch. Ensure host and client are on the same game version.
*   **Lag:** The host's CPU limits the server performance. If the host lags, everyone lags.
