Troubleshooting Crashes

Experiencing instability? This guide covers common solutions for Brick Rigs crashes and launch issues.

Game Not Launching

If the game refuses to start:

  1. Verify Integrity: * Right-click Brick Rigs in Steam > Properties. * Files > Verify integrity of game files.

  2. Run as Administrator: Locate the BrickRigs.exe and set it to run as admin.

Crashing During Gameplay

  • Out of Memory: Large destruction events can spike RAM usage. Close background apps.

  • Graphics Drivers: Crash to desktop is often GPU driver related. Update to the latest Nvidia/AMD drivers.

  • Corrupt Vehicle: Sometimes a specific workshop vehicle is buggy. Unsubscribe from recently added mods if crashes persist.

Low FPS

  • Laptop Users: Ensure the game is using your Dedicated GPU, not the Integrated graphics.

  • Lower Physics: The “Physics” setting impacts FPS the most.

  • Resolution: Lowering resolution scaling can significantly boost frame rates.
